Katie was given an impossible task. Just days before a San Francisco conference, her boss asked her to plan a private day of touring for their new clients—18 guests in total. Panicked, she Googled and asked ChatGPT for the best San Francisco offsite idea for a group, located us, and asked if we offered anything along the lines of what she was looking for.

After a quick phone call, we agreed a Private San Francisco Tour & Luxury Wine Tasting would be a thoughtful experience her team would love—a classy introduction to San Francisco for first-time visitors.

TRAVEL DAY

Arrive at the Ferry Building

Flying in from all over the world, the group members arrived at their San Francisco hotel—a prime location chosen to give them the freedom to safely explore the surrounding neighborhood. And since everyone was arriving at different times, we provided each guest with a detailed itinerary booklet, complete with local tips and a personalized San Francisco Luxury Travel Package.

The only thing Katie had to worry about was, once everyone was settled in, making sure the group arrived on time and ready in the morning.

Day 1

Luxury San Francisco Tour — Morning Agenda

We began our morning with a Private San Francisco Tour, one to show the group the ins and outs of the neighborhoods such as Nob Hill, North Beach and Chinatown. Paired with expert commentary from our local guides, we cruised in our luxury transportation, feeling like rock stars as we started the morning right. As we made our way to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, guests were encouraged to simply sit back and absorb the sights and sounds with the iconic Bay views of world-famous Alcatraz in the distance.

Savory Seafood Lunch

We love showcasing the classic flavors of San Francisco, so lunch was arranged at one of the city’s top seafood restaurants. From seared scallops and ahi tuna to fresh vegetarian options and everything in between, there was a type of dish for everyone to savor. The team then dined with sweeping views of the sunny Sausalito shoreline—a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco and the busy Moscone Center.

San Francisco Rooftop Views

Not every group has the time to drive to Napa or Sonoma for wine tasting, so we brought the world-class reserve wines to the team. In addition, we reserved rooftop views so the group could taste regional California wines while enjoying the stunning San Francisco skyline.

Overseeing the tasting of fresh chardonnays to the smooth cabernets Napa Valley is so famous for, our private sommelier took the group through a local wine tasting journey of California’s best regional reds and whites.

Some safely rode with us in luxury back to their boutique hotel. Regardless of choice, everyone was more confident about San Francisco after today’s thorough yet simple introduction.
